Are the treatments harmful to humans, animals or pets? What else might they harm?

Tebufenozide and Btk only affect the feeding insect larvae of spruce budworm or other budworm-like (Lepidoptera) species. Spruce budworm is the only species being targeted by treatments.

Pheromone interferes with the ability of adult male spruce budworm moths to find females to mate with, thereby helping to reduce the future population.

The treatments are not harmful to humans or other mammals.
